Welcome to the 2008 District III Season.
You can find everything you need on our web site (www.district-3.org).
For Schedules, Scorekeeping, Standings and individual scores click on the District III League button.
That will produce a menu and you can select the desired option.
Please verify your team name, contact name, phone number and e-mail.
Contact your registrar or myself to make any needed corrections.
Any communications, like name changes etc, will be done by e-mail so accuracy is important.
District III does not assign fields or field times, they are assigned by your home association/club.
Contact your association/club for your home field information and
contact your opponent for your away game information and directions.
The home association/club is also responsible for assigning the referees.
There is also a link on the menu for the rules and regulations Operating Procedures.
Please read them. Take note of the Game Reschedule link. It is a game reschedule form.
Each coach must send a copy of the rescheduled game form to the
League Administrator at Vpcomp@wsysad3.org.
Your Association/Club should give you game sheets. One game sheet, in triplicate,
must be filled out for each game and given to the referee.
If you find that you do not have enough game sheets you can print more at
www.district-3.org/by_laws/game_sheets.pdf.
For score reporting both teams should enter the score (win, tie or lose).
Do not try and enter anything for a BYE. Click on the Enter Scores link on the
District III League menu and select the appropriate division and enter your score and
other required information. Enter the score after each game. The standings will be available immediately.
When the opposing team enters their score a verification is made that both teams entered
the same score. If there is a difference send me an email gerd.schmidt@wsysad3.org and
let me know what the problem is. There will be differences. They are not intentional.
If you or your players receive a Red or Yellow card and you are not sure on what to do,
click on the So you received a card button on our web page for guidance.
Coaches or any other person receiving a send off are required to attend the next Disciplinary
meeting to explain their actions. Failure to appear will result in the coach of record to be suspended
from all activities within WSYSA.
The best of luck to all of you and I hope you have an enjoyable season.
